Dr. Abdul-Rahim spent most of his early years in the San Francisco Bay area. After completing his training, he taught in the School of Medicine, Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock for 7 years. He was a Senior Consultant in Oculoplastic at the King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 2001-2003.
